Last year, we shared Principal Financial Group was increasing its ownership stake in CIMB-Principal Asset Management Berhad from 40% to 60%. We're now excited to be known as 'Principal'.

But, it’s more than a name change – we have a renewed focus to help bring the global purpose of Principal Financial Group to you: Simplifying investing and helping our customers make progress on their long-term retirement and financial goals.

We are still the same strong, stable company that you’ve come to know – locally run and operated and serving more than 600,000 customers throughout ASEAN with CIMB Group as a joint venture partner.
